KLC acted as legal advisor to National Bank of Greece (NBG).

KLC Law Firm is proud to announce that it has acted as legal advisor to National Bank of Greece (NBG) on the project finance of the construction of the first battery storage project (BESS) in Greece sponsored by ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC SAE. The BESS project has a capacity of 50MW/100MWh and following its participation in the first standalone battery storage tender, it has been selected to receive operating and investment aid. The total financing cost amounts to € 41,0 million, including financing from NBG, co-financing by the Recovery and Resilience (RRF) scheme, and investment aid from the RRF. The power generated shall be purchased through a ten-year operating agreement with DAPEEP.
