Our services cover the entire spectrum of public law issues, including administrative fines and sanctions, licensing, disputes on zoning and land use, expropriation issues as well as public contracts and procurement. The members of our team have also served in ad hoc special committees or have otherwise contributed to the drafting of statutory provisions on a wide range of public policy matters relating to, among others, energy, IP, NPLs and privatisations.
Experience
On the public procurement front, our team traditionally provides legal support to both contracting authorities and private entities. Our expertise and know-how in the field includes the drafting of tender and contractual documents, assistance in the preparation of bids, and legal support through the tender process all the way to the award of the bid. We also represent our clients before the courts and the public authorities in litigation proceedings, arising from the public procurement process or the performance of public contracts, and act for our clients before the Hellenic Court of Auditors in the context of precontractual audits.
- Acted as legal advisor to Attiko Metro in connection with the international public tender for the award of the contract regarding the operation and maintenance of the Thessaloniki metro network.
- Acted as legal advisor to Hellenic Gaming Commission in connection with the international public tender for the award of a long-term concession contract regarding the establishment and operation of a recreational center at the Metropolitan Pole of Hellinikon – Agios Kosmas.
- Advising several major European suppliers with regard to defense procurement projects of the Hellenic Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Citizen Protection.
- Advised the Ministry of Energy, Environment and Climate Change in connection with the preparation of the laws on wind parks and forest protection, respectively.
- Advised the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund during the tender procedures for the selection of legal and financial advisors for the implementation of its divestment strategy as well as during the drafting of its Regulation on the Award and Performance of Contracts for the Supply of Products and Services.
